New House Plans:
A fraternity house plays a fundamental role for any fraternity. As the epicenter of a fraternity, it emphasizes the bonds the members share as brothers. It is the place where the members of the organization congregate to live and work together as a whole. In addition to serving as housing, fraternity houses often host social gatherings, meetings, and functions that benefit the community.
With that said, the Sigma Nu Housing Corporation is proud to announce a new phase in the long, rich history of Sigma Nu Fraternity at Texas A&M University. A new flagship house is in the works with plans to start construction within the year. The distinguished alumni of Sigma Nu felt that our housing needed a definite upgrade. They wanted our house to reflect the prestige of being a Sigma Nu, and they wanted to make it a reality for the active chapter. They have put a lot of planning into the project to meet the needs of our growing chapter. The over 8100 sq ft house will have 16 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, large living area, bricked patio and a chapter room.
